Funeral services for Gaynell Mathis, 81, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Lee Myrex and Steve Rodgers officiating with interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Mathis passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1935 to Ed and Nettie Talley Aaron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ray Edwin Mathis.
Survivors include her sons; Buster Mathis, Jerry ‘Beaver’ (Angie) Mathis, Charles ‘Tommy’ (Karen) Mathis; daughters, Marlene (Leon) Garmon, Darlene (Phillip) McSwain, Tina (Frank) Turner, Lisa (Larry) Campbell, Cherrie (Gary) Miller; sisters, Vonzel Page, JoeAnn Hubbard; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 12-2 before the service.
