Gary Wayne Stephens, age 58, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center South.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Greg Pate and Bro. Shannon Pullen will officiate. The pallbearers will be Bobby Stephens, Shane Stephens, Kevin Stephens, Jeremy Gaskin, David Rayfield, and Sean Bohler. The family will receive friends 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church before the service.
He is survived by his wife; Melissa Stephens, daughter; Meagan and Jeremy Gaskin, mother; Patricia Dooley, brothers; Bobby and Kristy Stephens and David and Anna Stephens, sisters; Faye and Jason Dickson and Pam and Joey Sanders, mother-in-law; Jo Pate, brothers-in-law; Greg and Kelly Pate, Tim Riedlinger, and Mark Dorsett, and sisters-in-law; Kim Pate and Kristy Stephens.
He is preceded in death by his daughter; Miranda Stephens, daddy; Billy Ray Stephens, brother; Danny Stephens, and sister; Billie Jean Dorsett.
