Gary Wayne Hulsey, age 69, of Greenbrier passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Greenbrier. He was born December 5, 1955 in Springfield, TN to Floyd & Brenda Mayes Hulsey, Jr. He spent his life farming and was the owner of Sleeping Bear Lodge. When he was younger, Gary enjoyed rabbit and deer hunting and camping. He enjoyed talking with folks and telling stories. He never met a stranger and was quite the Entrepreneur. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Margie Hulsey; sons, Shaun (Laurie) Hulsey, all of Greenbrier, TN and Cody Rollins, Tampa, FL; daughters, Kristy (Josh) Owen, Adolphus, KY and Stacie Gipson, KY; brother, Randy Hulsey, Greenbrier, TN; 4 grandchildren, Faith, Kayla, Conner, and Jacob. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House. Interment will follow in Mayes Cemetery on Bethel Road with Shaun Hulsey, Laurie Hulsey, Marty Robinson, Randy Hulsey, Jeff Hulsey and Harold Hulsey serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Friday, February 28, 2025 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
