Gary Wade Martin 61, of Elkmont, AL died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama.
He was born April 25, 1958 in Limestone County, Alabama to Wade and Bertie Martin.
Gary was a member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore. He worshiped at Friendship United Methodist Church with his wife, LouElla, for the past five years. Gary was a hard worker. He retired from General Motors/Delphi after 33 years of service. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, camping, being outside, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Gary loved his children, grandchildren, and wife.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Martin, his wife and the mother of his children, Betty Martin, and his granddaughter, Gracie Bett Martin.
Gary is survived by his mon, Bertie Martin of Athens, AL; wife, LouElla Spahn Martin of Elkmont, Alabama; sons, Lance (Nicole) Martin, Elkmont, AL and Chad (Morgan) Martin, Elkmont, AL; daughter, Tiffany (Dustin) Wilbourn, Elkmont, AL;grandchildren, Dawson and Dax Wilbourn and Paislee and Wydner Martin; brothers, Terry (Mickie) Martin, Elkmont, AL and Phillip (Mary) martin, Athens, AL; sister, Joan (Virgil) Murphy, Elkmont, AL; several nieces
and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the family will have a private family service with Bro. Brian Murphy and Bro. Tony Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bottoms Cemetery.
A Public Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Martin, Cody Martin, Neil Martin, Dustin Wilbourn, Lance Martin, Chad Martin, Phillip Martin, and Terry Martin.
