  Gary Thomas North Profile PhotoGary Thomas North passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 68 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on March 9, 1955, in Des Plaines, Illinois, to Harold G and Dorothy Spratt North.

 

The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Sunset Park.

 

Gary is survived by his partner, Pat Davis; stepdaughter, Tammie Whitehead (Thurston); grandchildren, Alex Hornback (Lindsey), Brad Hornback (Bailey), and Chelsea Jones (Evan) and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Ann and several brothers and sisters.

 

Throughout his life, he exhibited passion for the game of golf, spending countless hours on the green perfecting his swing. His love for the sport was evident to all who knew him, and he often enjoyed sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

 

Beyond golf, Gary’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish and operate a successful limousine service for several years. He took great pride in providing exceptional transportation experiences for his clients, always ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. He also branched out into the real estate field where he became a dedicated and respected real estate agent.

 

Gary cherished his role as PawPaw and was adored by his grandchildren. He found immense joy in spending time with them.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in memory of Gary to a Veterans Service.

 

Gary Thomas North will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory live on through those who were fortunate enough to know him.
