Gary Owens

Gary Owens, 70, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born July 26, 1954 to DeLorise and Nelda Owens. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Gary enjoyed fishing, wood working, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday February 9, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Owens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Sunday February 9, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his sons, DJ (Michelle) Owens, Scotty (Brandi) Owens, and Kevin (Jessica) Owens, all of Fulton; grandchildren, Cameron Owens, Daxton Owens, Kaylee Owens, Layla Owens, Tobias Owens, KC Owens, Riley Owens, and Harper Owens; brother, Darren (Melissa) Owens of Ripley, and niece, Maggie (Christopher) Gage of Saltillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Regena Louise Owens, and grandson, James Hady Owens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Daxton Owens, Tobias Owens, KC Owens, and Riley Owens.
