Mr. Smith died on August 19, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 29, 1957, in Morgan County to William Lloyd Smith and Ella Dean Turney Smith, who preceded him in death. A memorial Service may be scheduled by his family at a later date.

I am saddened to learn of Gary’s death. He was my classmate and friend, and a fun guy in high school! I have not seen him in MANY years. May God comfort your hearts, Scott and Nicole.
