Gary Lee George, age 64, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his residence.
Gary was the Speedy Pig pit boss for 10years, the owner of George’s Foster & Assistance Living Home for 10 years, and George’s New & Used Furniture Store for 4 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alic Andrew George & Cecil Reba (Borden) George; siblings, Charles George, Ellis George, Linda Richie, Josie Seal, and Ruby Dolley.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Michael George (Tabetha), Randel George (girlfriend, Cristy); grandchildren, Dalton George, Malicia George, Dacota George (Harlee), Dawson George, Bentley George, Kaylee Ferguson, Raylee Holley; siblings, J.W. George, Caroline McNutt, Anita Vanzant; and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8: p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Sister Pearl Shelton officiating the service. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Dalton George, Dacota George, Dawson George, Jerry Borden, Andrew Borden, and Danny O’Malley. The honorary pallbearers will be Grady Borden, Gary Maxwell, John Maxwell, and J.W. George.
The George family expresses their heartfelt appreciation for your sympathy in our time of grief. Thank you for your love and support. Your thoughts and prayers after the loss of our beloved Dad have been felt by us all.
