Gary Joel Burnett, age 78, of Scant City passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Gary was born on January 15, 1943 in Scant City the son of Harold and Bessie Burnett.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deloris Burnett; children, Darlene (Mike) Garrett, Deborah Burnett, Angie (Kevin) Shaw, Angie (Chris) Murphree, Scott (Lee) Burnett; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grand children; sister, Greta Cloud; brother, Jason Burnett.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bessie Burnett; sons, Paul and Brandon Burnett; granddaughter, Christina Walker.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Eastside Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Brother Rick Douglas officiating.
