Mr. Gary Howard Patrick, age 86, of Arab, Alabama passed away October 26 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Patrick was born on August 26, 1939 in Gadsden, AL to Evelyn Marie and Howard Marion Patrick.
Mr. Gary Howard Patrick, age 86, of Arab, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. Born on August 26, 1939, in Gadsden, Alabama, Gary was the beloved son of Evelyn Marie and Howard Marion Patrick.
Gary was a proud graduate of Gadsden High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1963. After his military service, Gary dedicated 33 years of hard work to Chrysler before retiring. Gary was a member of Arab First Baptist Church
He shared forty-nine wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Carline Usrey Patrick. Together, they traveled extensively across the United States and visited several countries, making cherished memories along the way.
Gary is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Mark Strauser; Tammie and Leonard Haga, Shirley and Jamie George, Timi Rae and Lowell Dooley, Ann Marie and Craig Bethune; his son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Wendy Britton; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carline Usrey Patrick; parents, Howard and Evelyn Patrick; and sister Rebecca Irene Watkins.
Family and friends will gather at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel Friday, October 31, 2025 between the hours of 10:00AM and 11:00AM to reminisce, recognize and honor Gary. The family has chosen to follow Gary’s wishes for no additional services. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
