Gary Ginevan, age 73, of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. His graveside service will be Saturday, February 16, at Harris Chapel Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Buddy Dover and Bro. Donald Wayne Elliott officiating.
Gary Ginevan, age 73, of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. His graveside service will be Saturday, February 16, at Harris Chapel Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Buddy Dover and Bro. Donald Wayne Elliott officiating.
Gary was an Industrial Electrician at Champion I.P. and a member of the Local 558 for fifty-two years. He had a deep work ethic and truly valued his co-workers, his friends, and he never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Scotty Ginevan; and his sister, Paula Ginevan McDonald.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Carolyn Waldrep Ginevan; his mother, Ruth Elliott Ginevan; his son, Dr. Brad Ginevan (Sierra); daughter, Amy Ginevan McKee; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Linda Turberville; grandchildren, Reed McKee, Slade Kelly, Lexi, Kaley, and Cora Ginevan; numerous nephews and nieces; and a host of friends and co-workers.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
