Gary “Flat” Franklin Burleson, age 78 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He served in the United States Army, retired owner of Big B Sales and was a member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Lance Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Heights Cemetery.
Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife, Naomi Burleson; children, Michael (Nikki) Burleson, Tanya (Bryant) Ryals and Jennifer Batchelor; sisters in law, Fay Bureson and Ruby Burleson; and grandchildren, Josh Batchelor, Landon Ryals and Anna Beth Burleson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucian and Josephine Burleson; sister, Betty Burleson and her husband, Dennis; and brothers, Tony Burleson and Harold Burleson.
