Funeral service for Gary F. Murphy, 81, will be Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Holmes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Murphy died on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1942, in Clinton County, Ohio, to Franklin Willis Murphy and Sweetlan Arizona Crabtree Murphy.
He attended Falkville Methodist Church and was instrumental in the development of the The Industrial Site in Falkville. He owned Lone Wolf Trailer Company, Modern Playground and Full House Barbecue. He loved to cattle farm and enjoyed hunting in Colorado. He was married to the love of his life for 51 years and he cherished her.
Preceding him in death were his wife: Margaret Ann Smith Murphy, his parents and a sister: Vicki Fuqua.
