Mr. Gary Dwayne Smith, 58, passed away Thursday September 9, 2021. Visitation service will be held Monday Sept. 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel, in Bridgeport, AL. Funeral services will be Tuesday Sept. 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. held at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel, Bridgeport, AL., Officiated by Randy Smith. Final resting place will be at Harris Chapel Cemetery, Bryant (Hog Jaw Valley), AL.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith; daughter, Jennifer Shubert; son-in-law Brian Shubert; grandchildren, Emma, Layla and Jayce Shubert. Stepmother, Glenda Smith; sisters, Donna Simmons (Tim), Connie Smith (Doug); brothers, Eddy Smith, David Smith (Kathy); sister-in-law, Jessie Smith, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin & Lora Mae Smith; brother, Dennis Smith; grandparents Haz and Hattie Dial, Albert and Lettie Smith; mother-in-law, Joyce Raulston; Step grandparents, Wendell and Christine Kennamer.
