Mr. Gary Doyle Holt, age 65, a resident of Pulaski, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 4-8PM with a memorial service beginning at 7PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 14, 1955 in Maury County, Gary was the son of the late Clyde Holt and the late Sarah Coble Holt. He worked many years as a driver for the Columbia Daily Herald. He enjoyed working on old cars and riding motorcycles. Gary loved fishing, hiking with his family, watching sports, especially wrestling, boxing, and football, and eating a home cooked meal.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Holt of Pulaski; son, Richard Holt of Nashville; daughters: Rebecca Davis of Pulaski, Angela Brown of Pulaski; brothers: Paul Coble, Michael Holt; sisters: Dotty Davidson, Joyce (Billy) Dillehay; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Katie Holt; and nephews: William Davidson and Mark French.
