Funeral services for Gary Dale Duckworth, Sr., 54 of Hanceville, will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham at 2 pm, Pastor Glen Pair and Bro. Tim Harris officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Duckworth passed away Sunday, February 24th at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1958 to parents, Charles Allen and Betty Jo Hazel Duckworth.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include His mother of Sumiton; his wife, Kay Harris Duckworth of Hanceville; two sons, Gary (Crystal) Duckworth, Jr. of Maplesville, AL and Lee (Pam) Welford of Decatur; two daughters, Melinda Frank and Kerrie Haynes, both of Hanceville; four brothers, Terry (Donna) Duckworth of Corner, Jerry (Lezette) Duckworth of Hayden, Greg (Brena) Duckworth of Gardendale, and Brian (Nicole) Duckworth of Graysville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of family & friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-12 at the funeral home.
