Gary Barnes, 54, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at his residence. He was born July 20, 1964 to the late Brice Barnes and Katherine Twitty Barnes in Illinois. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Holsonback, and Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home.

He is survived by his Mother, Katherine Barnes of Fulton, Brother, Michael (Pamela) Barnes of Zion, IL, Nephew, Brandon (Danielle) Barnes of Winthrop Harbor, IL, great niece, Aleena Barnes of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and great nephew, Brice Lee Barnes of Winthrop Harbor, IL.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Brice Barnes. His wife Mitzi Barnes passed away on Friday November 23, 2018.
Pallbearers will be Doug Hester, Neal George, Mark Brown, Pat Brown, Andy Coker, and Tiny Hughes.
