Garry Wayne Stephens, age 63 of Gaylesville, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Stephens was born on February 28, 1958 to James, Sr. & Wilda Westbrooks Stephens in Marshall County. He worked as a technician for multiple hosiery mills before retiring.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Fischer Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 noon until the 2 pm hour of service.
He is survived by his wife, Shenna James Stephens; daughter & son-in-law, Felisha & Raymond Hemminger; brothers, James Stephens, Jr. and Ricky Stephens; sisters, Marilyn Hale, Nina Rochester, Melissa Stephens, and Jodie Laird; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Hemminger and Emily Rae Hemminger; chosen brother, Winston Stephens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Stephens, Sr.
