Garry W. Orrick, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his residence.
Garry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing and his favorite spot to go was Horseshoe Bend. He loved going anywhere with his family, even if it was just a ride into town. He enjoyed his times he spent at the casinos in Tunica, especially the Horseshoe, loved playing Chick-fil-A Bingo, and he always won at Bingo. He will be remembered by his family for his love of Krystals burgers and Sunrisers, as well as the many fun times they shared.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Gail Orrick; son, Douglas Wayne Orrick; parents, Jim & Letha Orrick; and several brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Carolyn Orrick, Theresa Orrick Burns (Tracy); grandchildren, Destiny Orrick McKinney, Austin Orrick, Katie Burns, Seth Burns, Alexandra Orrick, Nena Orrick, Mia Orrick, Diego Orrick; sister, Mary Ann Bryant; and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Jim Poss officiating the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Seth Burns, Austin Orrick, Markess Baltazar, Heath McKinney, and Tracy Burns.
