Gallen Price Frye, 89, passed away December 3, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, December 6th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel with Brother Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Frye attended Faith Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the IBEW Local 558 for 65 years and was retired from Reynolds Alloys. He loved the outdoors and could fix anything. He was an avid Crimson Tide fan, but most of all, was totally dedicated to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Imogene “Mo” Frye; children, Mike Frye (Martha), Pam Nash (Steve) and Amy Kilpatrick; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, J.C. Frye (Louise); and sister, Liz Holder.
