Gail Price Lovejoy, 71, passed away on December 21, 2016.
Born in Montevallo, Alabama, she was the daughter of Radford and Verla Price. She graduated from Montevallo High School in 1963 and the University of Montevallo in 1966.
Gail attended Highland Baptist Church, where she kept the nursery. She retired from the Department of Human Resources in 2005 after serving as the Supervisor of the Child Support Unit.
Her visitation service will be held Friday, December 23, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel immediately following the visitation. Dr. Sammy Gilbreath will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Gail is survived by her children, Chris Lovejoy (Carey), Mark Lovejoy (Gina) and Beth Scott (Brent); her grandchildren, Emily Lovejoy, Mary Morgan Scott, Katie Lovejoy, Christopher Lovejoy, Radford Scott and Crayton Lovejoy; and her sister, Martha White (George).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lovejoy, and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Partridge, David Partridge, Campbell Partridge, Ronnie Lewey, Daniel Lewey and Don Smith.
