Graveside Services for Mrs. Gail Lett Nolen, age 82 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ashland City Cemetery with Bro. David Phillips officiating. There will be no visitation prior to services.

Mrs. Nolen passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Clay County Nursing Home. A lifelong resident of Clay County, she graduated from Lineville High school in 1957. Mrs. Nolen was a selfless, helpful woman that would help anyone and not expect anything in return. She was caring and not boastful, with many great character traits, but too numerous to mention. Mrs. Nolen was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Cary Nolen (Tonya) of Lineville, two grandchildren: Erin Hubbard (Lance) and Cale Nolen (fiancé Charity), one great-grandchild, Avie Lee Hubbard and one on the way, Missie Joy Hubbard, two sisters: Iva Lee Brooks of Ashland and Mattie Lyla Clark of South Carolina, her step-children: Nina Nolen Hobdy, Lynn Nolen Thomas, Warren Nolen, Jr., Russell, David and Steven Nolen, a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Burl Lett and Littie Bell Shults Lett, her husband, Jean W. Nolen, and five brothers: Paul, Dale, Hugh, Gene and Fred Lett.

Active Pallbearers will be: Stan Brooks, Cale Nolen, Lance Hubbard, Dean Lett, Robbie Lett and Brian Lindley.

Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
