Gadsden Teen Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident

GADSDEN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a single-vehicle accident near Gadsden has taken the life of a Gadsden teen:

“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 3:07 p.m. Friday, February 12, has claimed the life of a 17-year-old from Gadsden.

The teen was fatally injured when the 2000 Toyota 4 Runner he was driving left the roadway, overturned and landed in a creek bank. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Speed is considered to be a contributing factor to the crash, which occurred on Pleasant Hill Road near Sanford Road, approximately one mile north of Gadsden.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
