Fredrick Phillip Eckstein, 53 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born Sunday, March 20, 1960 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late Fred Eckstein and Ollie Wean Malone Eckstein. He lived all his life in this area and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He was a brick and block mason.
Surviving are his wife: Galdys Eckstein of Elkmont, AL, mother: Ollie Eckstein of Elkmont, AL; sister, Pam & Darryl Faulkner of Prospect, TN, and nephews: Tristen & Christine Faulkner of Athens, AL and Seth Faulkner of Prospect, TN.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Kasey Harbin and Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
