Frederic Baker Orange, age 74 of Empire, passed away Monday October 23, 2017. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Corner where he was a Sunday School Teacher. He was a US Air Force veteran, an avid Horseman, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 28, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Corner at 11:00 am. Dr. Sammie Reid will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederic and Martha Orange.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Nancy Cornelius Orange; children, Baker Orange (Andrea), and Garrett Orange (Heather); grandchildren, Charlie, Layla, Sophia, and Caleb; sister, Connie Orange Short (Mike); brother, Robert Orange; best friend, Ricky Odom (Tracey); and nephew, Derek Orange.
