Freddie Joe Hudson, age 86, of Florence, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025. Graveside service will be Monday, August 11th at 11:00 am at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jolly and Eula Hudson; grandson, Heath Hudson.
Survivors are his loving wife of 67 years, Tanis Hudson; children, Teddy Hudson (Tamara), Dolly Cooper (Mike), and Tony Hudson; siblings, Sherry Miller, Ricky Hudson, Barry Hudson, and Larry Hudson; grandchildren, Tyler Hudson (Michelle), Elijah Hudson (Alyse), John Thomas Hudson (Stacey), Rusty Cooper (Kelsey), Dalton Cooper, Hunter Hudson (Kalyn), and Scout Hudson (Brailyn); great-grandchildren, Vivian Hudson, Reagan Cooper, Bryar Hudson, Price Hudson, Cypress Hudson, and Makadyn Winkler.
He was the owner of Freddie’s Texaco and Superior Transmission of Florence. He loved Corvettes, NASCAR racing, and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
