Freda Nell Law, 75, of Sheffield, AL. passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 after a long illness. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 1-2 p.m., with the funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Brother Wayne Wood will be officiating.
Ms. Law is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Chester Matthews and Cohnnie Alfreda Johnson Matthews; brother, Chester O. Matthews; and son, Brett O’Neal Haswell.
Survivors are son, Scott Lee Haswell; grandson, Jason O’Neal Haswell (Tabitha); sister, Peggy Cherry (Don); great-grandchildren, Tatum O’Neal Haswell and Jayce Ezra Haswell.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Clemons, Chris Melton, Tyler Melton, Ethan Kelsoe, James Roberts, and Steve Haswell.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
