Fred Robert Neuman was born July 4, 1940 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Robert Wallace and Carolyn Rothkegel Neuman. Mr. Neuman departed this life on March 5, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 8 Months, 1 Day.
Fred grew up in and graduated from high school in Parma, OH. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He married Donna Lee Beers on October, 22, 1977. He later graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio in 1981 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He worked as a Plant Controller for several companies over the years. In 1997, he moved to Henderson and worked for Basell, retiring in 2005. After retirement, he volunteered his time working at the Gleaners House in Henderson, where he was affectionately known as “Mr. Fred.” He was a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife Donna Lee Neuman of Henderson; a son Michael Robert Neuman and wife Dee of Bemis, TN; a daughter Kimberly Johnston and husband Scott of Montrose, CO and a granddaughter Cassidy Jule Johnston.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Church of Henderson or the Gleaners House.
