Fred Pruitt, age 63, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at his residence.ย He was a native of Cheverly, MD and employed at Fleeman Trucking.ย He was a member of the American Legion Post 146, a life member of D.A.V., and Unity Church of God.ย Mr. Pruitt served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Elsie Triplett Pruitt.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.ย The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home.ย Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016, with Jerry Golden officiating.ย Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.ย Family suggests memorials be made to D.A.V.
