Fred LeRoy Burgess, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, July 22nd. Fred was always smiling. He would help anyone in need. He was a generous and honest man. He possessed a childlike faith for God and made the Lord his number one priority in life. Fred loved his family, fishing and Alabama football. Roll Tide!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minister Roy Burgess and Marjorie Burgess Young, two brothers, Irvin and George Burgess, sister-in-law, Gloria, and brother-in-law, David Britton.
He leaves behind his wife, Patsy, just shy of their 48th anniversary; daughter, Stacy Crawford; son-in-law, Keith; grandsons, Tucker (Laine) White, Ethan Crawford; brothers; Hershel and Janerle (Sarah); sisters, Joyce Britton, Geilda (Wesley) Dawson; sisters- in-law, Wendy Burgess and Linda Burgess; and several nieces and nephews that he dearly loved as his own.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel with Ron Williams officiating
