Fred Calvin Alston, age 96 of Addison, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham.
Mr. Alston proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1943-1947.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at the Fred Alston residence, 244 Alston Road, Addison, Alabama 35540 on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m..
Fred is survived by his daughter, Barbara Alston Yongue; son, Steven (Connie) Alston; grandchildren, Webb Yongue, Brittany Yongue (Chris) Ward, and Jessica Yongue; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Alston; and parents Emerson Clark Alston and Belle Dewberry Alston.
