Funeral service for Fred Allen Hartbarger, age 82, of Trinity, will be Saturday, April 5, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richie Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hartbarger, who died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born January 23, 1932, in Rockwood, TN, to William Hartbarger and Annie Allen Hartbarger. He was preceded in death by one son, William Allen Hartbarger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Gaines Hartbarger of Trinity; two daughters, Shawn Belew of Huntsville, and Sandy Parker of Decatur; two brothers, Quinton Hartbarger of Marietta, GA, and Tom Hartbarger of Rockwood, TN; three sisters, Sue Shelton and Juanda Jean Wooten, both of Rockwood, TN, and Gay Houston of Klamath Falls, OR; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
