Franny E. Ayala, age 39, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2025, at Parkridge West Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1986, in Sparta, Tennessee, to McLouis Peterman and the late Deborah (Dillon) Peterman. Fanny was of the Baptist faith and carried a strong belief in God throughout her life. She spent many years caring for others as a devoted caretaker with At Home Healthcare of East Tennessee. Above all, she was a loving mother who treasured the time she spent with her children. She enjoyed relaxing at the beach and watching television, especially her favorites Twilight and Supernatural. Franny will be remembered as caring, gentle, and devoted to her family. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dillard and Ruby Dillon; niece, Angel Maddux; sister-in-law, Leticia Ayala; and brothers-in-laws, Sabino Ayala and Ramiro Ayala. She is survived by her loving husband of ten years, Jose Ayala, and his parents Efren Ayala and Maria de Luz Arreguin; children, Omar Slatton, Caden Slatton, Gracien Ayala, and Miracle Ayala; siblings, David Maddox, Ola Maddux, and Daniel Maddux; nephew, Payton Maddux; along with many aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Hensley Chapel Church in Sparta.
