Frank’s Restaurant says, “Goodbye Park Place”

SHEFFIELD – When the Sheffield Housing Authority purchased Park Place from the estate of Bob Love, there were high hopes for a new upscale restaurant opening in town. It was to be “Frank’s Italian Restaurant.” But in less than 2 years, the owners are calling it quits.

Frank’s closes today (Wednesday). And the Housing Authority is scrambling to find a new tenant. They are scrambling due to the fact that they were told of the closure this past Monday.

According to a Housing Authority spokesperson, they had anticipated this event.
