Franklin Lewis “Frank” Burton, age 78 of Mt. Juliet, TN, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Burton was born in Nashville, TN on November 29, 1946, to the late Claude Burton and Claudia Larkin Burton. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Burton who died at infancy, and Jack Burton who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1968.
Mr. Burton is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lois Elaine Faulk Burton; daughters, Karen Kitchen and her husband Michael of Murfreesboro, TN, Sheri Agnor of Mt. Juliet, and Candice McBride of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Alaina McBride, Zach, Gavin, and Jayden Kitchen.
Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Living Springs Baptist Church, 4559 Weakley Lane Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday following the visitation with Mike Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN at 11:00 AM Monday, September 8, 2025, with military honors.
Mr. Burton was a member of Living Springs Baptist Church, a Captain in the US Marines in which he was very proud. He received his BS Degree from MTSU and was a retired Union Electrician with IBEW Local 429.
