Franklin D. “Tom” Hamilton, 82, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Lawrence County, AL and was a factory worker for more than thirty years.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 27, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Andy Barnett officiating. Burial will be Saturday, August 3, 2 p.m. in Mars Chapel Cemetery, Hillsboro, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by four children – Raymonda Vinson (Gary), Sharon Bowen and Michael Hamilton, all of Golden, MS and Kenny Hamilton, Red Bay, AL; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters – Faye Aday, Moulton, AL and Gearldine Shaw, Kissimmee, FL and the mother of his children – Mamie P. Hamilton.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 27, 10-11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
