Frankie Janet Tubbs, 89, went to rest in her eternal home on, January 25, 2025 at Dogwood Assisted Living Center in Corinth, Mississippi. Janet was born in Biggersville, Mississippi, February 20, 1935 to the late Willie Mack and Gladys Nell Gamill Latch of Corinth, Mississippi.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Corinth. She worked for over sixty years as a local cosmetologist. Janet was a devout christian and a founding member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Corinth. She will forever be missed by her church, family, and community.
Janet was welcomed by her parents; her husband, O.C. Tubbs; siblings, Willie K. Latch, Mack Elbert Latch, Donnie Latch, Larry Latch, Dewey Latch, Christine Latch, Sue Latch, Lory Latch, and Virginia Killough.
Janet leaves behind her nieces, Teresa Fullerton (Steve), Bonita Coleman (Darryl), Kathy Latch Putman, Annette Latch Collum (Jim), and Lisa Latch Whitehead; nephews, Willie O. Latch (Deb), Greg Latch (Jimey), and Keith Latch; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
There is a Celebration of Life Service scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Pinecrest Baptist Church beginning at eleven o’clock in the morning with Bro. Jeff Haney officiating. The family will accept friends Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at McPeters Funeral Directors in Corinth, Mississippi beginning at five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening; as well as from ten o’clock in the morning until service time at the church on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers Janet has requested donations be made in her name to the Pinecrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
