He is survived by his wife, Myra Lynn Murphy; sons, Jimmy Dale Hall and Anthony David (Rebecca) Murphy: grandchildren, Breanna Elizabeth Murphy, Alexia Carol Lynn Murphy, E.J. Hall and Aiden Hall; great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Wayne (Brenda) Murphy, Carl (Ruby) Murphy, and Danny Ray (Lori) Murphy; mother-in-law, Naioma Kindred; sisters-in-law, Wanda Regina (Roy) Baker; brother-in-law, Joe (Linda) Kindred; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Murphy; brothers, Charlie (Karen) Murphy, Dennis (Tanika) Murphy; and sister Barbara Ann Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Brother Ryan Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
