Frank Nicholas Laratta, 92, of Jasper, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor, followed by a Rosary Service in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Burial will take place Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper. Father Joseph D. Lody will officiate.
Mr. Laratta was preceded in death by his father, Patsy Laratta; Maria Sia Laratta; brother, James Laratta; and sisters, Marion (Adam) Nigro and Theresa (Augie) Corso.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Freeman Laratta; daughter, Amanda (Kerry) Hancock; brother, Patrick (Frances) Laratta; and grandchildren, Claire Hancock and Emma Hancock.
Mr. Laratta spent five years at the Naval Air Station and 30 years in the Aero Space Program.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Knight’s of Columbus at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in memory of Frank Nicholas Laratta.
