Funeral service for Frank Edward Jones Sr. age 66 of Hartselle will be Monday, March 18, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Bates officiating with burial in the Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones, who was born February 1, 1953 in Hamilton County, Tennessee to Frank Price Jones and Mary Ellen Hawkins Jones, died on Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the VFW, retired from General Motors, a member of the UAW local 2195 but his favorite titles were Daddy and Poppy and was happiest when surrounded by his family. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife; Patsy Jones, a son; Frank E Jones Jr. and wife April, a daughter; Melissa Pershin and husband Denny all of Hartselle, his mother; Mary Ellen Jones of Decatur, a brother; Barry Jones of Trinity, a sister; Charlene Linderman of Stevenson and by six grandchildren; Trey Jones, Zac Pershin, Jordan Pershin, Braxton Jones, Grayson Jones and Reece Jones.
Frank Jones Jr., Denny Pershin, Trey Jones, Zac Pershin, Braxton Jones, Keith Linderman, Josh Linderman and Wesley Linderman will serve as pallbearers.
Grayson and Reece Jones will be Honorary pallbearers.
