Frank E. Stewart, age 64, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frank was a Maury County native raised in Santa Fe and was the son of the late Paul Jackson Stewart and the late Bertha Scott Stewart. He attended Santa Fe High School and then became a carpenter. His father taught him and his brothers the trade of carpentry and he could build a house from the ground up. Frank enjoyed taking his kids to tractor pulls and he liked Nascar and races. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son: Tim Stewart of Spring Hill; daughter: Cindy Stewart Russell of Columbia; brother: Jesse Stewart of Columbia; sisters: Patsy McDonald of Columbia, Elaine (Hank) Roberts of Culleoka, and Sheryl (Dewayne) Adams of NC; grandchildren: Sean Russell, Faith Stewart, Hannah Russell, Jaden Stewart, and Ty Russell.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Howard Stewart and Jack Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Sean Russell, Anthony Stewart, Jesse Stewart, Hank Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Logan Stewart, and Harley Stewart.
