Frank David Maysak, 81, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Countrywood Manor in Mantachie. He was born November 16, 1941, in Blue Island, Illinois, to Frank and Ida Rimkus Maysak. He grew up in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, and graduated from Zion-Benton Highschool. He was a foreman in printing for Nosco, Inc. for 46 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Fulton Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling in his younger years. He enjoyed taking care of his girls and adored his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joan Maysak, of Mantachie; his two daughters, Jennifer Buchanan (Gene) and TaraBeth Heikenfeld (Mike), both of Fulton; seven grandchildren, John Wilkins, Tyler Wilkins (Hannah), Jessica Hood (Johnny), Kyle Nikkila (Santanna), Jason Nikkila, Kyle Heikenfeld, and Robert Heikenfeld; and six great-grandchildren, Charlee Cumberland, Pete Cumberland, Caroline Hood, SadieJo Hood, Levi Wilkins, and Kurt Heikenfeld; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Keys-Fletcher, and Annette Maysak; brother-in-law, Don Moore; two special nieces, Angela Nemiro and Georgia Castillo.
He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Kiersten Nikkila and Crystal Heikenfeld; two sisters, Diane Moore and Joanne Covington; one brother, Tim Maysak; and his parents, Frank and Ida Maysak.
