Francisco Vazquez, age 62 of Huntsville, passed away Mar. 28, 2017. Mr. Vazquez, native of Brooklyn, NY, was a retired U.S. Army soldier previously stationed at USAOMMCS Redstone Arsenal as HAWK missile systems division instructor and later as a Combat Developments division TRADOC user representative. As an industrial electronics technician, he was a previous employee of the Dunlop Tire Company and filled his last working years at Redstone, working as a contracted logistics management specialist supporting MDA/ DPLO. He was a resident of Madison County for over 39 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Elyssa Vazquez, Stefanie Vazquez and their mother Mary Vazquez, and one sister Delma Vazquez. His cremated remains will be spread over the waters of his beloved Gulf Coast. Family will receive friends Sat., April 1, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
