Francis Eugene Mueller, formerly of San Diego CA. Francis Mueller, age 95, was born July 17, 1925 in Easton MO and passed away peacefully at his daughters home on March 11, 2021 in Huntsville AL. He was the son of the late Christian and Josephine Mueller. He was preceded in death by the “love of his life” Norma Lee Engleman, to whom he was married for 72 years, and his brothers Everett and Donald. Surviving are his brothers James and John Mueller. Beloved father to son Steve of Lakeside CA, and daughters Nancy Bartlett of Huntsville AL, Carol McDaniel (deceased) and Nina Bishop of Charlotte NC. Grandfather to nine, Great-Grandfather to 17 and Great-Great Grandfather to one Great-Great Granddaughter. Francis was a member of the Greatest Generation, WWII, serving in the Navy from 1943-1946. He worked as foreman at the La Mesa Lumber Company for 43 years. Francis enjoyed traveling and camping with his beloved wife Norma. He was always smiling, generous and kind, and loved by everyone he met. He will be greatly missed! Francis will be interned with Norma at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego CA during a “Celebration of Life”sometime later this year.
