Frances W. Carroll, 82, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at NMMC – Tupelo, MS. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She retired from retail at 79 years old. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She had a kind spirit and never had a bad word to say against anyone.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Donna Hodge; her sons, Alan Hodge (Denise), Rodney Hodge, and Tommy Hodge (Kathy); her sisters, Alice Sossaman (John) of Coffeeville, MS and Dorothy Rayburn of Sardis; and her grandchildren, Cody Hodge, Ethan Hodge, Matt Hodge, Everett Hodge, and Alex Hodge.
Those preceding her in death are her parents, Tommy Frank and Dorothy Richardson Woods; and her brothers, Tommy Lee Woods, Albert Lee Woods, and Billy Ray Woods.
Services will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 12PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will begin at 10AM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Hodge, Ethan Hodge, Matt Hodge, Everett Hodge, Mack Hodge, and Tanner Cary.
