Mrs. Frances Pennington age 91 of McMinnville, TN, (Mt. Zion Community) died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Bailey Manor Assisted Living in Manchester, TN. She was born April 21, 1931, in McMinnville, TN, was a former bookkeeper with Puckett Motors before retiring from Willmore Ford, and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lucile Haston Stubblefield, husband Frank Comer Pennington, brother Billy Joe Stubblefield, and son-in-law Gary Davis.
Survivors include a son Michael Pennington, Nashville, TN, daughter Claudia Davis, McMinnville, TN, grandson Scott Culberson, Woodbury, TN, sister Ida Belle (Jack) Robb, Kirtland, OH, sister-in-law Carol Pennington, Fairview, TN, brother-in-law Howard Pennington, McMinnville, TN, special friend Janet Whittlesey, McMinnville, TN, and the residents and staff of Bailey Manor Assisted Living, Manchester, TN.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Green will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Pennington Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. in the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
