Frances Merriam Lowe, age 88 of Fayette passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at home. Services will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Johnston officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fayette City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel.
Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her father, LTC Bud Merriam (retired); mother, Ruth Merriam; brother, LTC C.S. Merriam II (retired); and her husband, Herbert C. Lowe.
Survivors include her daughters, D’Ann Somerall and Susan M. Lowe; son, Barrie Lowe; sister, Lorna Lee Johanson; and her grandchildren, Jessica Freeman, David Lowe, Heather Ward, Christina Hooper, Adam Wilson, Evan Lowe, David Somerall, John Somerall, and Adam Somerall.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Langley, Mark Brown, Michael Watts, Adam Wilson, Trey Ward, Drew Hooper, and David Lowe.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
