Frances Louise Spence, 84 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Monday, April 18, 1932 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James Jackson Taylor and the late Nancy Loretta Frances Ball Taylor. She enjoyed painting, reading, cooking- especially baking and decorating cakes, and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: James Taylor, and a grandchild: Joanna Blaire Spence.
Surviving are husband Paul Spence of Ardmore, TN, son, Mike (Darla) Spence of Ardmore, AL, daughters, Paula (Ricky) Newton of Moulton, AL and Wanda (Tony) Hogan of Athens, AL, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
