Frances Jean Austin – Obituary

Frances Jean Austin was born December 8, 1931 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Frank Lipford and Mary Darcus Malone. She had worked at Brown Shoe Company and also Aqua Glass before retiring. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Austin on October 1, 1949. Mr. Austin preceded her in death on June 2, 2017. Frances and her husband attended Good Hope Baptist Church when they were able.

Mrs. Austin departed this life on March 20, 2018 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 12 Days.

She is survived by a son, John Austin of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Linda Gilbert; a brother, Charles W. Lipford; eight grandchildren: Chris Jones and wife Julie, Michael Jones and wife Kathy, Josh Jones and wife Michelle, Kevin Austin, Lesley Kirk and husband John, Malerie Miller and husband Thomas, Lukas Austin and Trisha Austin; seventeen great grandchildren: Julia, John Michael, Sierra, Alex, Kayla, Solitaire, Charles, Mackenzie, Mya, Meredith, Tyler, Evan, Kyle, Kaidenn, Noah, Taylor and Amelia Jane.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Jean Jones; a son, Daniel Craig Austin; two sisters, Margie and Ida Lipford; three brothers: Roy, Arlie and Troy Lipford; a grandchild, Jacob Ryan Austin; two great grandchildren, Kenneth Edward Jones and Travis Kane Kirk.
