Frances (Fran) Parker, 76, of Decatur, passed away on December 8, 2017. Her visitation will be on Monday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with her funeral service to follow in the chapel. Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery. Reverend Hal Daigre is officiating.
Fran was born in Decatur to her parents Albert Jack and Dorothy Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jackie and Bill Smith. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dean Parker; her son, Keith Parker(Jeanie); two granddaughters, Shelby and Samantha “Sami”; and one sister, Margaret(Bucky) McLemore, all from Decatur.
The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Cheatham, Decatur Fire and Rescue First Responder, Dr. Lobo and staff, Dr. Norwood, Dr. Harris, Dr. Quansah, and the staff of Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Hodges, Chad McLemore, Kumar Chadha, Ronnie Moore, Michael Glenn, and Trey Edgil.
